Roadmap

Where Frond is going

Directional, not a promise of dates. We ship roughly every few weeks and priorities shift as we learn from customers. What is here reflects where the work actually is.

Now

In build
  • Google Drive connector

Index Google Docs, Sheets, and shared drives as a first-class source, with folder-level permission awareness so teams only see answers from folders they can access.

  • Answer follow-up

Ask a follow-up question in the same session and Frond keeps the source context without starting over. The second question narrows into the same documents the first answer came from.

  • GitHub connector

Index pull request discussions, code review comments, and issue threads from GitHub alongside your docs and tickets, so engineering context is answerable too.

  • Faster re-indexing on source change

When a Notion page or Confluence article is updated, the index reflects the change within minutes rather than waiting for the next scheduled full refresh.

Next

Coming after
  • Saved answers

Bookmark a cited answer and share it as a team reference. The saved answer stays live as the underlying source changes, so it reflects what is true now, not what was true when someone pinned it.

  • Answer quality feedback

Thumbs up or down on any answer feeds a quality signal back into retrieval ranking for your workspace. Corrections propagate so the next similar question gets a better result.

  • Workspace analytics

See which questions are asked most, which sources are cited in answers, and where coverage is thin so you know which knowledge gaps to close first.

  • Dedicated API tokens for Team

Per-team API tokens with scoped permissions for programmatic questions, so integrations can query Frond from internal dashboards and tools without sharing account credentials.

Later

Exploring
  • SSO and SCIM for Business

Directory-based user provisioning and single sign-on for larger teams on the Business plan, so access follows your existing identity provider without manual user management.

  • Self-host and open-model routing

Run the Frond answer engine on your own infrastructure with open models you host, so source content never leaves your perimeter. For teams with data-residency requirements.

  • Public API

Ask questions and retrieve cited answers programmatically from any internal tool, help desk, or dashboard. A first-party API with rate limits and token scoping.

  • Microsoft SharePoint connector

Index SharePoint sites and document libraries alongside Drive and Confluence, rounding out the most-requested doc sources for enterprise teams.

Priorities shift as we learn from customers. What matters most to your team? Tell us what you need.
